Summary

Freedom to Trade Act - Prohibits a U.S. national, permanent resident alien, or Federal agency from entering into an agreement (including an agreement to provide a loan, guarantee, credit, or other financing) with a foreign person who prevents or inhibits a U.S. business from undertaking a commercial activity, or otherwise discriminates against the business, because of the religious beliefs, practices or associations, sexual orientation, race, or gender of an individual with an ownership interest in the U.S. business, an employee of the business, or an agent of such business. Directs the Secretary of the Treasury to instruct the U.S. executive director of each international financial institution to use the U.S. vote to oppose any assistance from such institution to any foreign person that engages in any of the activities prohibited under this Act. Directs the Secretary of State to deny a visa to, and the Attorney General to exclude from the United States, any alien the Secretary of State determines is a person who engages in such prohibited activities.
