Summary

Provides that, in order to facilitate planning of budget and tax policies and to assist coordination of fiscal policies with monetary and credit policies, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System shall transmit to Congress two reports each year. Requires such reports to contain: (1) a statement of the Board's interpretation of current economic and financial conditions; (2) a statement of the Board's expectations about business and financial conditions during the forthcoming two years; (3) a projection by the Board of the rates of interest consistent with economic goals; and (4) other specified information.
