To provide for a research project in the Salton Sea area of Southern California regarding an enhanced evaporation system for saline water.

Directs the Secretary of the Interior to conduct, through the Bureau of Reclamation, a research project for the development of an enhanced evaporation system for saline water treatment in the area of the Salton Sea of Southern California. Sets the non-Federal share of the cost at 25 percent. Requires a report to the Congress on project results. Authorizes appropriations.
