Summary
Passenger Safe Travel Act of 2001 - Amends Federal criminal law to make it unlawful for a person, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, to possess a cutting instrument, chemical spray, or an electric weapon in an aircraft or on the premises of an airport, unless such person is authorized to do so by or under law or by the owner of the aircraft or airport. Sets forth both civil and criminal penalties for violations of the requirements of this Act.
