Summary

Makes State and local governments subject to the provisions of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967 prohibiting discrimination in employment on account of age. Declares that all Federal personnel actions shall be free from any discrimination based on age. Provides that any persons aggrieved may bring a civil action in any court of competent jurisdiction for such legal or equitable relief as will effectuate the purposes of this Act.
