Summary

Amends the Geothermal Steam Act of 1970 to declare that the development of any activity related to geothermal production within the Corwin Springs Known Geothermal Resource Area will result in significant adverse effects on significant thermal features in Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho). Directs the Secretary of the Interior to prohibit such activities on any lands within the Resource Area (including lands and waters not owned by the United States). Directs any State adjacent to Yellowstone National Park to provide at least six months notification to the Congress and the Secretary before issuing a permit for a new geothermal well reasonably likely to result in significant adverse impact on significant geothermal features in such Park.
