Summary
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Examination Enhancement and Insurance Fund Protection Act - Amends the Federal Deposit Insurance Act regarding special examinations of an insured depository institution to require that all reasonable efforts be made to: (1) coordinate FDIC special examinations with other Federal or State regulatory entities; and (2) minimize the disruptive effects of such examinations upon institution operations. Mandates that the Federal banking agencies: (1) grant access to the FDIC in as prompt a manner as practicable with respect to reports of examination and reports of conditions; and (2) establish procedures for providing the FDIC with access to additional information as needed for insurance purposes.
