Summary

Prohibits the importation of all products from Iran. Authorizes the President to delay the implementation of such prohibition for up to 180 days if he determines that it is not in the national interest of the United States. Requires the President, if he delays implementation of the prohibition, to submit to the Congress a report explaining the reasons for the decision, including how the national interest would be jeopardized by implementing the prohibition. Permits the Congress to extend such 180-day period by joint resolution.
