Summary
Athletic Care Act - Requires that elementary, secondary schools and schools of higher education which engage in interscholastic athletic competition must employ at least one certified athletic trainer. Provides that the Commissioner of Education shall carry out a program of certifying persons as athletic trainers and shall make grants to institutions of higher education to assist them in meeting the costs of establishing and maintaining programs to provide the education and training necessary to qualify persons for such certification.
