Extends to the States and their political subdivisions the Age Discrimination in Employment Act which prohibits employers from exercising discriminatory employment practices based upon age. Specifies that the term "employee" shall not include any person elected to public office in any State or political subdivision by the qualified voters thereof, or any person appointed by such elected official.
