Summary

Amends the National Trails System Act to provide that, in the case of any donation, transfer, lease, sale, or other conveyance for interim use, such use shall not begin until the right to interim use has been acquired from each of the owners of the land underlying the right-of-way (and payment or deposit of compensation to those owners has been made): (1) in accordance with specified law, including the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970; and (2) consistent with any order of a court of competent jurisdiction in a condemnation proceeding.
