Summary
Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to provide for payment under title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act (SSA) for transportation of portable ultrasound equipment used in furnishing diagnostic tests in the same manner as payment is made under such program for transportation of portable x-ray equipment used in furnishing diagnostic x-ray tests. Amends SSA title XVIII to provide for Medicare coverage of ultrasound tests performed in a patient's home.
