Summary
Family Product Safety Protection Act - Amends the Consumer Product Safety Act to authorize the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to order the recall of any consumer product the CPSC determines to be imminently hazardous and, notwithstanding specified disclosure limitations, to disclose information relating to the recall and the product to the public. Requires (under current law, allows) the CPSC to prescribe product testing rules. Reauthorizes the Act for FY2008 and subsequent fiscal years.
