Summary
Retraining and Outplacement Opportunity Act - Directs the Office of Personnel Management to take such steps as may be necessary in order to provide for a demonstration project to determine the feasibility and desirability of allowing any employee who has been specifically identified for separation, pursuant to a reduction in force, to be detailed, in order to afford a trial period of service, to: (1) another agency; or (2) any other qualified potential employer.
