Summary
Provides that the Secretary of Health, Education and Welfare may assign social security account numbers to aliens only after documentation, approved by the Secretary, proving his lawful admittance to the United States for permanent residency, his lawful status to engage in employment in the United States, or his status as a nonimmigrant alien. Provides that the Secretary may assign such a number to an individual claiming to be a U.S. citizen only after such individual has provided documentation proving such citizenship.
