Summary

Makes it a Federal crime to murder or assault a law enforcement officer or fireman engaged in the performance of his official duties. Provides the penalty of death for such murder and the penalty of imprisonment for not more than ten years, or a fine of not more than $10,000 or both for such assault. (Adds 18 U.S.C. 1116)
