Summary
Food Stamp Equality Act of 2007 - Amends the Food Stamp Act of 1977 to make individuals convicted of specified federal or state drug-related offenses eligible for food stamp or similar benefits. (Current law denies food stamp benefits to such individuals.) Authorizes a state to: (1) deny or limit food stamp benefits to such individuals; or (2) continue to provide such benefits under a previous opt-out provision.
