A bill to amend Public Law 94-565, relating to payments in lieu of taxes, to provide that the amount of the Federal payment to units of local government within a State for certain Federal property located within their jurisdiction shall not be less than the amount which such unit would be eligible to receive from the State as a State payment in lieu of taxes with respect to such property if the property were owned by the State rather than by the United States.

Summary

Provides that the amount of Federal payment to a unit of local government for entitlement lands within its jurisdiction shall not be less than any State payment in lieu of taxes to such unit if such lands were owned by the State.
