Glass Marking Act

Summary

Glass Marking Act - Prohibits the manufacturing in the United States for introduction into interstate commerce, or the importation into the United States, of any reproduction antique glass article which is not legible and permanently marked to indicate the calendar year in which such article was manufactured. Empowers the Federal Trade Commission to enforce this Act. Allows an interested person who has suffered any loss to commence a civil action for injunctive relief and damages against any person who violates the provisions of this Act. Grants the Commission the power to exempt specified glass articles from the labeling requirement.
