Summary
Deposit Insurance Funds Merger Act of 2000 - Amends the Deposit Insurance Funds Act of 1996 to: (1) delay the effective date of the merger of the Bank Insurance Fund and the Savings Association Insurance Fund from January 1, 1999, to January 1, 2001; and (2) repeal the prerequisite (Frist Amendment) that such merger take effect on that date only if no insured depository institution is a savings association on that date.
