Summary

Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to establish a demonstration project under which: (1) physicians providing services for which payment may be made under Medicare part B (Supplementary Medical Insurance) may, upon request and the patient's consent, periodically receive certain information on a particular patient's utilization of other Medicare providers; and (2) such physicians receive orientation and training on the use of such information to effectively manage patient care.
