Summary

Fairness in Credit Card Applications Act of 2000 - Amends the Truth in Lending Act to mandate disclosure to the consumer of: (1) the credit limit applicable to credit and charge card accounts; (2) the consumer's right to state the minimum credit limit acceptable to such consumer; and (3) the terms and conditions applicable to different types, designations, or brands of credit card which may be issued to the consumer. Requires disclosure of such information in solicitations to open a credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan via telephone, publications, or websites. Prescribes implementation guidelines.
