Summary

Anti-Cronyism and Public Safety Act - Prohibits specified public safety positions from being held by any political appointee unless such individual: (1) has academic, management, and leadership credentials relevant to the position; (2) has a superior record of achievement in one or more areas relevant to the position; (3) has training and expertise in one or more areas relevant to the position; and (4) has not, within the prior two-year period, been a lobbyist for any entity or other client that is subject to the authority of the agency within which such individual would serve.
