Summary

Presidential Commission for Evaluating United States International Broadcasting Services - Establishes the Presidential Commission for Evaluating United States International Broadcasting Services. Requires the Commission to review, assess, and report on the programs, goals, and future direction of the international information dissemination and broadcasting of the Board for International Broadcasting and the United States Information Agency. Requires the Commission to make recommendations to the President and the Congress on ways to increase the effectiveness of U.S. international broadcasting agencies, including the Voice of America and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, in light of recent socioeconomic and political changes in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. Terminates the Commission after submission of its recommendations.
