Summary
Fishing Safety Training and Research Act - Reauthorizes through FY2025: (1) the Fishing Safety Training Grants Program, and (2) the Fishing Safety Research Grant Program. Directs the Secretary of the department in which the Coast Guard is operating, in the case of the training grant program, to: (1) establish a publicly accessible electronic database listing individuals who have participated in training sessions carried out with such grant assistance; and (2) require, as a condition of including an individual in such database for any period longer than 18 months, that the individual complete retraining. Requires such training to be available in languages other than English.
