Summary
Permits, for a veteran enrolled in the system of patient enrollment of the Department of Veterans Affairs who is receiving maternity care from the Department and gives birth to a child in a Department facility, or in a non-Department facility in a case in which the expenses of the care of the veteran are covered under a Department contract, furnishing care without charge to the newborn child. Prohibits the maximum amount payable for such care and services from exceeding the amount payable for such care and services under title XIX (Medicaid) of the Social Security Act.
