Summary

Public School Prescription Safety Act of 2000 - Amends the Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act of 1994 to require a State educational agency's comprehensive plan for use of funds, in its application for a grant for drug and violence prevention programs, to certify that the State has implemented adequate safeguards and enforcement procedures to ensure that, during school hours, on public school premises, only a student with a lawful prescription for a controlled substance in Schedule II of the Controlled Substances Act may receive and ingest such substance in the prescribed manner.
