Summary
District of Columbia Justice Reform Act of 1992 - Amends the District of Columbia Code to increase from $2,000 to $5,000 the maximum amount in controversy permitted for cases under the jurisdiction of the Small Claims and Conciliation Branch of the Superior Court. Provides that each prosecution of an individual transferred for criminal prosecution from the Family Division of the Superior Court shall be conducted in the name of the District of Columbia by the Corporation Counsel or the Corporation Counsel's assistants.
