Summary

Mississippi Sound Restoration Act of 2000 - Amends the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to require the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to establish the: (1) Mississippi Sound Restoration Program within EPA; and (2) Mississippi Sound Executive Council. Directs the Administrator to assist the Council in developing a management plan for the restoration and protection of the Sound and to provide funding and oversight for voluntary restoration projects. Authorizes appropriations.
