Summary
Amends Title II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) to decrease from 20 to 10 the number of years a divorced woman must have been married to an insured individual in order for her to qualify for wife's or widow's benefits on his wage record. Allows for the payment of benefits reduced from the benefit payable after a marriage of 20 years or more by five percent for each year by which the number of years of the woman's marriage is less than 20.
