Summary
Community and Senior Center Support Act This bill permits the Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide financial assistance for multipurpose senior centers and essential community facilities that provide health, community, social, recreation, or cultural services, without regard to whether the center or facility is in a rural area, In providing this assistance in nonrural areas, USDA must consult with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Currently, USDA may provide such assistance to rural areas.
