Summary
Military Education Extension Act of 2002 - Extends the period of entitlement to educational assistance under the All Volunteer Force Program to 15 (currently, ten) years after the date of an individual's last discharge or release from active or Selected Reserve duty. Extends similarly such entitlement period for members who serve a minimum period of active duty, are discharged or released, and subsequently reenlist or enter into an additional period of active duty. Allows individuals whose entitlement period had expired prior to such extension an additional five-year period following the enactment of this Act to use any unexpended entitlement portion.
