Summary
Katie Elise and Meghan Agnes Act - Requires the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) to promulgate final consumer product safety standards, applicable to any furniture the CPSC determines poses a substantial safety hazard due to tipping, that are (at a minimum) substantially the same as a specified ASTM standard. Requires the CPSC to promulgate final consumer product safety standards to require that, in any furniture containing a glass surface or pane of a size that poses a safety hazard on breaking, the glass be safety glass.
