To amend title 13, United States Code, to provide that decennial census questionnaires be limited to the basic questions needed to allow for an enumeration of the population, as required by the Constitution of the United States.

Summary

Authorizes the Secretary of Commerce, in connection with any decennial censuses of population, to request no information apart from that needed to allow for an enumeration of the population. States that the only questions needed for such an enumeration are those asking for an individual's name or the number of individuals in the household. Repeals reporting requirements pertaining to census questions, subjects, and types of information.
