Summary

Sunshine in Government Funding Act - Directs each Government agency to require each private entity to which such agency disburses funds to disclose, annually: (1) the instrument of organization of the entity; (2) the funding which such entity receives or has applied for from other agencies; (3) a copy of the entity's audit for the preceding year; (4) information on the entity's operating officers and board of directors and on the types of business and names of any other organizations upon whose boards of directors such individuals also serve; (5) a copy of all advertisements or publications issued by the entity during the preceding year; (6) the names and addresses of lobbyists employed or retained by the entity; (7) the amount of money expended by the entity in the preceding year for political purposes; and (8) a copy of any material required by any other agency. Requires each agency to conduct an annual audit of each entity receiving agency funds to assure compliance with this Act. Requires any private entity applying for agency funds to disclose such information. Prohibits any Government official from disbursing funds to any private entity that has not disclosed such information. Requires any official who is found, after a trial, to have negligently or intentionally violated such prohibition to be discharged from or forfeit such office. Requires any private entity found to have violated this Act to be disbared from the receipt of Government funds for up to four years. Reserves the right to repeal, alter, or amend this Act.
