Summary
Security Interests in Copyrights Financing Preservation Act - Amends Federal copyright law to authorize a security interest in a copyright or the proceeds of a copyright to be perfected under either the Uniform Commercial Code or Federal copyright law. Requires the rights of a transferee of an interest in a copyright or a copyright's proceeds, other than a lien creditor, to prevail over the conflicting rights of the transferee of a security interest in the copyright unless the security interest is perfected under Federal copyright provisions.
