Summary

Military Retention Benefits Training Act - Directs the Secretary of the military department concerned to make available a program of education and training to inform eligible military personnel of the benefits to which such personnel and their dependents are or may become entitled upon remaining in the armed forces until becoming eligible for retired or retainer pay. Requires such benefits training to include all benefits provided by the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. Makes eligible for such training: (1) all members on active duty or in an active status in a reserve component; and (2) retired members, on a space-available basis. Directs the Secretary of Defense to develop and maintain a database of information on servicemembers attending benefits training who volunteer to perform military funeral honors.
