Summary
Sodium Fluoroacetate Elimination Act - Amends the Toxic Substances Control Act to prohibit the manufacture, processing, possession, or distribution in commerce of sodium fluoroacetate (known as Compound 1080). Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to: (1) provide for the collection and destruction of remaining stocks of sodium fluoroacetate; and (2) compensate those (excepting a federal agency) transferring sodium fluoroacetate to the Secretary within 18 months of enactment. Amends federal criminal law to subject a person to fine or imprisonment for possession of sodium fluoroacetate.
