Summary
Permits the head of a Federal agency administering any Federal assistance program under which assistance is apportioned on the basis of a standard metropolitan stastical area (SMSA) to modify the geographic boundaries of such area in order to include within the area only (but all) areas which are essentially metropolitan upon request of the Governor of the State in which such area is located and in concurrence with the Executive Office of the President.
