Amends Federal Civil Service provisions, with respect to maximum-age entrance requirements for the competitive service, to terminate the authority under which the head of an agency may determine and fix: (1) the minimum and maximum limits of age within which an original appointment may be made to a position as a law enforcement officer; and (2) the maximum age limit for an original appointment to such a position.
