Summary
Age Discrimination in Employment Amendments - Amends the Age Discrimination in Employment Act to lower from 25 to 20 the minimum number of employees which a person must have to be subjected to the provisions of such Act. Deems every State and political subdivision thereof as an employer and every agency of such governmental body which regularly undertakes to procure employees for an employer as an employment agency for the purposes of such Act. Adds to such Act the requirement that all personnel actions affecting employees or applicants for employment in the military departments, executive agencies, United States Postal Service or Postal Rate Commission, or Government of the District of Columbia, and other positions in the competitive civil service, including the Library of Congress, be free from discrimination based on age.
