Summary
Pacific Northwest Center Act - Directs the Secretary of the Interior to establish the Pacific Northwest Center for the Performing Arts in King County, Washington, and construct, operate, maintain, and improve facilities for the Center. Authorizes the Secretary to accept on behalf of the United States a donation of land from the State of Washington as the site of the center. Authorizes the Secretary of the Treasury to accept funds from the State of Washington and private donors for use in the construction, operation, or maintenance of the center. Establishes a Pacific Northwest Center for the Performing Arts Advisory Committee to advise the Secretary of the Interior and to make recommendations concerning: (1) the optimal efficiency and appropriate participation by State and Federal Government and the private sector in the operation and maintenance of the Center; and (2) the activities to be carried on in the Center.
