Summary
Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to study methods of preserving critical scenic, environmental, and outdoor recreational values of the Lake Tahoe Basin in California and Nevada. Authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to acquire, by purchase, any lands within the boundaries of the Eldorado, Tahoe, and Toiyabe National Forests in the States of California and Nevada in order to further such preservation.
