Summary
Nuclear Waste Terminal Storage and Technology Demonstration Act of 1979 - Directs the Secretary of Energy, after consultation with the heads of other appropriate Federal agencies and after reporting to Congress, to select a site from within three specified candidate areas to serve as the site for a Federal Technology Demonstration Repository for the disposal of nuclear waste. Directs the Secretary to authorize the design, site-specific geologic survey and subsequent construction of the repository. Sets forth procedures for the delivery of nuclear waste to such repository.
