Summary
Violent Sexual Predator Treatment and Incarceration Act of 2002 - Amends the Federal criminal code to require a prisoner who is being released from a sentence of imprisonment for a sex offense in which a minor was the victim to be committed to an appropriate institution for treatment at the time of release and to remain in treatment until cured or determined not to be a threat to society. Makes this Act inapplicable to persons subject to the criminal jurisdiction of an Indian tribal government unless the governing body of the tribe has elected that this Act have effect over land and persons subject to its criminal jurisdiction.
