Summary
Reading Enrichment After-School Development Act - Amends the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Act (which is part I of title X of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965) to include partnerships between public schools and public libraries, and consortia of such schools and libraries, among eligible recipients of program grants. Includes among authorized use of such grant funds: (1) education programs for individuals of all ages on how to evaluate information on the Internet; (2) preschool literary programs; and (3) reading enhancement programs for young people. Extends through FY 2005 the authorization of appropriations for such 21st Century Community Learning Centers program.
