Summary

This bill amends the federal criminal code to permit the assembly of a semiautomatic rifle or shotgun that is identical to guns prohibited from importation using imported barrels, muzzle attachments, trigger groups, and triggers. Additionally, the Department of Justice shall permit the importation of frames, receivers, or barrels for firearms, excluding handguns, if the importation is for repair or replacement purposes.
