Summary
North American Economic Alliance Act of 1979 - Establishes a Commission on a North American Economic Alliance to study the development and utilization of the resources of the United States, Mexico, and Canada, including studies of: (1) existing economic relations; (2) the elimination of tariff barriers; and (3) the development of industry along common borders. Sets forth provisions concerning membership, staffing, and powers of such Commission. Requires such Commission to report annually to the President and Congress concerning its activities. Stipulates that such Commission shall terminate on September 30, 1985.
