Summary

Amends the Federal criminal code to transfer from the Secretary of the Treasury to the Attorney General authority to enforce the Gun Control Act of 1968 and laws concerning the use of explosives. Extends current prohibitions against illegal use of explosives to include destruction by fire. Directs the Attorney General to investigate and prosecute firearms violations under the Internal Revenue Code.
