A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to require the Secretary of Health and Human Services, when notifying a beneficiary (or former beneficiary) of a previous overpayment of SSI benefits and requesting repayment thereof, to inform such beneficiary of his or her right to seek a waiver of such repayment or to negotiate a plan for making such repayment at a reduced rate.
